I was considering that option. How much RAM do you think I'd need? My work machine is an old thinkpad with 12GB but it does slow down/freeze fairly frequently (this might be a because of other reasons though) so I am thinking that 8GB would never be enough.
Is macOS less or more resource intensive?
- bo1024 10y agoGood point - I don't really know, depends on your needs I guess. I don't do very much memory-intensive stuff so 8GB has been fine for me.
- Luftschiff 10y agoWhat kind of tasks do you usually do? My old Laptop was already 6 years old when it died so I have no point of reference haha.
- bo1024 10y agoUsually a light virtual machine and a bunch of browser tabs. Watching videos. Some coding.
