A couple good pieces I've gotten regarding pricing are: - If you're not being told F-off 50% of the time, your rates are too low. - Price so that you would be happy no matter the outcome - whether you get the project or not. I've been using this one lately and for projects I'm not really interested in, I quote a much higher rate than for projects I would enjoy more.
