I am a Linux desktop user. I use Slackware 14.2 on my current workstation (an Apple MacBookPro11,3 according to "dmidecode) and my first Linux desktop was Slackware 3.3.0 (on a 486DX2/50 Packard Bell). Additionally I used HP-UX on a Visualize C3000 and Solaris on a SPARCStation 20 as my workstation for periods of time. The title is still misleading.
