Certainly not in modern pop music. By far the most common chord is power chord.
- skinnyarms 10y agoPower chords aren't actually chords, since they're only two notes.
- metaloha 10y agoThat's kind of like saying a bathroom isn't a room :) But they're also not major chords, they're fifths - E5, A5, etc, although I personally often add the octave to make it 3 notes.
