So why do notes sound good together when the frequency ratios are simple? Needs a section on the inner ear, stereocilia, and how overtones affect them.
- callalex 10y agoThis is still an open question after multiple millennia. Some posit that it is innate and have primate studies to back it up. Others posit that it is a culturally learned phenomenon and have social studies to back it up.
