One cannot simply "grind away" at a tedious task or a task capable of being automated. Unlike a hard problem, it cannot occupy the mind persistently and meaningfully.

- yanjuk 10y agoIndeed, but that doesn't invalidate my argument. (I included automation for context.) Note also that one cannot merely look after children, because they need to see a greater purpose in what you do.
