If you would think about it a bit more, then it is possible that you would realize that therapy is more beneficial for the society in general than for the inmate. There would be many things to say, but I would be already incredibly happy if you would realize importance of this small aspect.

Therapy would be most beneficial to the society, if you don't need to commit a crime to get it.

  With proper healthcare it ought to be free anyway, so the "cost" to society is the same. Why would it matter if your diagnosis came during a trial?
