I'm not saying iOT devices specifically. We can define the regulation threshold at mass consumer digital and connected products. Yes, digital/software is inherently less tangible and trickier to regulate than a physical product sold at smaller volumes, but we need to start somewhere. Poorly made digital+connected products distributed in large volumes can have tremendous impact to the world population.
