The other company that was widely affected by this, Dahua (see my coverage here: https://ipvm.com/reports/dahua-ddos?code=hn https://ipvm.com/reports/dahua-ddos?code=hn) also issued a statement that they would offer a trade-in discount for affected devices. It wasn't a full recall, and you have to jump through some hoops (work with authorized dealer, etc.) in order to get it.
