- crishoj 10y agoRemapping CAPS LOCK as CTRL is the first thing I do when setting up a new laptop.
- criddell 10y agoME TOO. CAPS LOCK IS THE KIND OF KEY YOU REALLY ONLY NEED TO HIT ONCE EVERY TIME YOU RESTART. THE CONTROL KEY IS USED MUCH MORE FREQUENTLY.
- pritambaral 10y agoWhy do you need to hit the CapsLock key when you restart?
- criddell 10y agoYOU'RE RIGHT. I SHOULD SCRIPT THAT.
- bryanlarsen 10y agoNo, the control key is in exactly the right spot. Don't use a finger to hit the control key, use the meat of your hand. This only works if control is in the far corner.
- imron 10y agoThat's even more impossible, especially if I want to do something like ctrl-z to undo, or ctrl-shift-z to redo.
