Why would you specifically mention "Chinese made" in the title? The actual article has a different title. Also, why does the fact that this device is made in China says anything about the device itself?
- colinplamondon 10y agoHalf of the entire article is about the difficulties of acquiring the (Chinese!) device, him trying to figure out if this is actually a real device (only made in China!), and eventually going direct to a factory (which is in China!). Read first, virtue signal second.
- sctb 10y agoIt's the author's right and responsibility to accurately advertise the article, not the submitter's. - lvs 10y agoHN should really avoid this old jingoist tendency in tech. Nearly all devices are made somewhere in Asia at this point, so this should not be noteworthy.
