It seems jumpy, and, for the speed at which the car is going and comes to a stop, there is not as much lurching as I would expect.
- gagege 10y agoI think it's sped up because driving is boring to watch.
- hyperbovine 10y agoHence, the self-driving car.
- notatoad 10y agoit's definitely sped up, watch all the way to the end when the guy gets out of it. i'm not sure if it makes the car seem more capable though. if anything, i was worried that the car seemed to be accelerating and decelerating dangerously quickly until i realized it was sped up.
- gabemart 10y agoI think the video is sped up, and while it may be sped up for a perfectly innocent reason, not indicating which parts of the video are sped up or by how much creates at least the appearance of possible impropriety, especially in a product demonstration. There's no problem with speeding up demo footage if you indicate you are doing so, like https://youtu.be/PDPrFJazD3Q?t=3m34s https://youtu.be/PDPrFJazD3Q?t=3m34s
- lanna 10y agoyes, it is time lapsed. it would be boring to watch the whole thing in real time, i guess.
