This could lead somewhere, but I think he's shooting himself in the foot by dissing vi and emacs. That's like telling a developer his girlfriend is ugly and then trying to sell him something.
- posterboy 10y agoI'm tempted to say you have the wrong idea about developers' relations to their editors, but then, you probably have the wrong idea about girlfriends. I mean, you are objectifying girlfriends. Anyway cli programs could just as well run in the browser, etc.
- NTripleOne 10y agoIf we were talking about anything other than vim or emacs, then yeah you'd probably be right.
