I looked for genuine Apple cables 1-2 months ago on Amazon. Couldn't find any. All offbrands and suspicious stuff. Consequently, I ordered direct from Apple. That's typical for my shopping on Amazon: I buy specific known brands usually, when I'm just browsing for something, it's pile after pile of crap... gotta sort it for the gold buried there.
