Do you have any numbers or reports on population distribution that fall into each type, optimizer and satisficer? I have never heard this before and find this topic very interesting.
- wpietri 10y agoI don't have that handy, but I'd start with the book "The Paradox of Choice" and the author's academic work. The phenomenon also goes by the name "maximizer vs satisficer", and you might check the psychological literature for that.
