If it was an immediate need I'd either buy locally or pay the upgraded shipping when I need it. That's just me though I agree and when I order never concern myself with prime shipping. However I do find a slight distaste anytime I receive shipping information to find it won't be here for 3+ days. I'm not sure why but something about immediate item receipt is rewarding and waiting for more than a few days I am less excited about receiving said package.
