- dflock 16y agoIsn't that the other way around? Botnets sometimes blackmail (random-ish) ordinary folk into paying off criminals, rather than you getting criminals to pay you?
- vtail 16y agoRemove the word 'criminal' above - and people living in non-democratic countries, such as Iran, Uzbekistan, Russia, China etc. will be very grateful to you.

- madtantric 16y agoRussia and Iran have democratically elected presidents. How is that non-democratic?. Democracy does not mean "complying to US dictates". Fully agree with the overall point though.
- _delirium 16y agoI could be misremembering, but I thought there was some pretty big hubbub over Iran's election!
- Super_Jambo 16y agoWhere as recent US elections have been almost entirely hubbub free. (I agree there is a difference in extremity)
- vtail 16y agoI'm from Russia originally, and current political system doesn't look democratic to me - elections are forged, all TV is state owned/controlled, very few independent newspapers, government is corrupted, one political party is in charge with no alternatives etc. - but your mileage may vary of course.
