In the US it's not advised to keep eggs that long, which speaks to a whole other issue.
- logfromblammo 10y agoIn the US, eggs are prepared for consumer sales differently. Most notably, the cuticle is removed. If you sterilize the shells and dip them in mineral oil or cheese wax, they can be kept at room temperature for much longer.
