We all must pay service to our feudal lords.
- int_19h 10y agoIt's not necessarily a bad thing - it's how you take a legacy system and adapt it to the new conditions without too much breakage. By making the government, in effect, the one and only feudal lord in its jurisdiction, and every land owner its vassal, the existing laws and precedent retain meaning, so you don't have to start from scratch - just change the things that need fixing.
