I only heard the term "deep work" yesterday, listening to Cal Newport on James Altucher's podcast. It's a pretty good introduction and he talks about his own approach to work. He's also a professor of computer science! They talk about his other book first (also interesting), so you need to skip a little way ahead for the deep work stuff. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-james-altucher-show/id794030859?mt=2&i=375568891 https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-james-altucher-show/... http://www.jamesaltucher.com/2016/09/cal-newport/ http://www.jamesaltucher.com/2016/09/cal-newport/
