In my experience veracrypt doesn't actually support guid partitions. I had to re-install windows after using veracrypt to encrypt my new machine. FWIW I'd recommend changing your partition type to mbr and using truecrypt 7.1a instead. I don't trust veracrypt after such a negative experience.
