My view is Trump is an existential threat to our way of life and society. His authoritarian trigger-finger views and sheer lack of understanding of anything related to governing a nation will yield a world war and erase many decades, if not centuries, of progress. Democrats and Republicans are already, and will continue, to investigate the failure of their machine. That much is true regardless. It's whether or not we're still here to do that introspection that I'd prefer to save.
