Because you need to choose between just two candidates. Not between the best possible candidate on Earth and Trump.
Trump has been demonized multiple times. But his opponent isn't exactly an angel, and did things that I wouldn't define great or honest in her life.

There're a lot of people who are going to vote for Trump just because they think that "Hillary Clinton is worse" - so, not because of Trump's virtues.
- oxide 10y agoI think OP understands why Donald Trump is the Republican nominee. The question was why are you planning on voting for the Republican nominee. If your answer is because you don't get to choose between the ideal candidate and Trump, that's fair enough, why go out of your way to talk down?
