What's devops?
- aap_ 10y agoI still don't know what devops is. I've heard the term a couple of times but wasn't able to figure out what it means, this article didn't help either.
- corobo 10y agoI've always understood it as you write the code but also you manage the systems the code runs on. Development and Operations.
- samlevine 10y agoSometimes it means I do the development work that developers don't want to do, sometimes it means I do the operations work that ops doesn't want to do. At it's best, it's a process for communication between ops and dev where folks use a common platform to do what each do best, while collaborating on things which are shared concerns.
