Yap, it happens the same with cheese or wine, the famous ones are French or Italian.
A good start for the variety is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_cuisine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_cuisine even when the pictures at the right are wrong. It is not mixed paella and pintxos are not common in Catalonia.
