I think the thing that that individual laws allow for is a)stealth and b)agreement over time
- noobermin 10y agoIndividual laws are easier to chuck out in the middle of the night (or with moneyed interests who can organize across state lines while citizens aren't paying attention). The constitution cannot be superseded.
- wyldfire 10y ago> The constitution cannot be superseded. Ordinarily I'd agree with you but it seems like lately the Senate has shirked their duty to provide advice and consent on appointments of justices to SCOTUS. :(
