There's going to be a huge power vacuum. Now, there's nobody with moral authority to mediate between clashing factions. Previously, the king could just say "Guys, stop killing each other and cut it out" and they'd actually listen. The crown prince has no such power and influence over the country. Will be interesting to see who rushes in to grab influence.
