A celeb/politician/etc's popularity is what brings regular people to twitter. To charge the celeb would be counterproductive and probably move them over to a competitor for good.
- alex_hitchins 10y agoSorry - I meant that it would cost general users say 50P a month to receive tweets from say a major A-lister, but 25p to recieve the tweets of a C-lister. People could get them for free, just delayed by say 30 minutes.
