Not necessarily. I own a pretty good scanner but if the device in question also has a scanner, so be it.

No, only documents (b/w, color).
- dsr_ 10y agoFor B/W documents, buy a Brother laser with all of the following: an ethernet port, BRScript/3, and duplexing. (The duplexing is just nice to have, but Brother tosses it in for nearly free.)
- detaro 10y agothen I'd agree with dsr_: look through brothers range and pick something, the models I'm familiar with apparently all don't exist anymore but Amazon reviews etc should help you. Some color models are also available <200. Check the prices for replacement toner!
