Islamophobia Just Drove This Boy and His Family Out of America
- kaavata 10y agoThis isn't the America that I grew up loving. The idea that was put into my head anyway. I use to be proud of it when in school I would hear about America being the melting pot of the world, called the greatest country. Where people came with dreams, all races, religions, ages. A place where someone could start new and be part of a great country. What happened to that? I'm not saying there was never racism before, of course. But I won't forget what was told to me about America and why it was great. And I want to see that now. But as long as shit like this is happening, it never will be.
