  That would only explain an inability to make coffee, not an inability to make tea. 2.3.2 418 I'm a teapot Any attempt to brew coffee with a teapot should result in the error code "418 I'm a teapot". The resulting entity body MAY be short and stout.

    Actually as per RFC7168 a teapot may return code 418 to "denote a more permanent indication that the pot is a teapot".
