I agree. I'm using Atom now since a few weeks, and really like it, but its vim-mode is really not great, and the development of vim-mode stalled. I have high hopes on neovim, but I think it will only play out in a few years from now. Until then, there's a lot of work to do.
- mcjiggerlog 10y agoI tried vim-mode too, but just trying to replicate vim is never going to work, it needs to be native. It took me about 10 seconds of editing to get blocked by an unsupported feature.
