- idlewords 10y agoThat is my reading of it, too. The audience was a group of sociologists and academics discussing the 'Moral Economy of Technology'. I think AI true believers who invent such scenarios have been burned one too many times by journalists who (rightly) sensationalize their beliefs, and have learned to not talk about them to the press.
