We're creating iphones while a significant number of people starve to death globally, etc. (If someone's response is that it's okay specifically because Apple is a private company, then well honestly I'd be a bit concerned about the preconception that capitalism is automatically moral. If minimizing the number of people starving was the goal that beat other goals, then taxes could be raised on companies like Apple until society put more effort into reducing starving than building iphones.)
