We have our share of brutalism in Berlin, especially in the west side of the wall. I really love how some of these buildings look so scary and menacing, so raw and so rough. Fits to the techno culture.

- SwellJoe 10y agoThey make it look like a battleship. I can't imagine they have function...which makes them ugly, to me.
- pimeys 10y agoI guess it has something to do with air conditioning. The building is the Research Institute for Experimental Medicine, where they test medicine with animals. The look kind of suits the purpose, don't you think?
