Sorting, queries, personalised content (Hey [first name]!) are some examples.
- kpil 10y agoYes, but it's based on the invalid assumption that everyone follows the same pattern. Nothing feels as faked as a "Hey [incorrect name]!" letter, so it's probably better to avoid it.
- BrandoElFollito 10y agoI recently got emails stating with "hello ::error::" and "dear /FirstName/"
- wingerlang 10y agoMight be so, but I am sure it works perfectly fine for billions of sent email every day.
