Not mean to be offensive but I will think this way: App Store is a commercial service. When you post something there, you're solidating service from Apple. So if they reject to serve you, it's like a store reject to sell something to you (not because you cannot pay for it). My first response is why don't distribute it on your own, like an HTTP link to 'apk'... then I realised general user cannot install stuff without App Store. Why open source project bother to support people not using open source system? You cannot save to whole world (like someone lock himself intentionally during a fire, and reject to open the door. It might not be a good example but I hope you get my thought)
