Why are Nobel Prize winners getting older?
- PythonDeveloper 10y agoCould it be they're aging? The correct question is "Why are there no younger Nobel candidates? It could be ageism, as the panels who choose laureates are, well, older. It could also be that it's taking longer to generate breakthroughs. When you look at the early laureates and compare the complexity of their work to the work of more current ones, it almost appears silly that the earlier laureates would win a Nobel for that work... I mean... pfft.. it's basic stuff... now...
