If you're already a successful entrepreneur, the only reason you'd want to be a Google software engineer is if you have no idea what you're signing up for. There's absolutely nothing magical about working at Google and the learning curve plateaus fast, at which point you're likely a salaried code monkey. If that's more money than you anticipate making on your own, then I guess go for it. Otherwise you're making a serious mistake.
