Which is a very, very good proxy for diversity of experience and opinion.
- brighteyes 10y agoIt might be, but political affiliation, religion, and age would be equally good proxies. But these aspects rarely if at all get addressed.

- MustardTiger 10y agoNo it isn't. In fact, almost all of the "diverse" teams I see are a monoculture of opinion. They are all people who buy the standard SJW nonsense fully and hate anyone who doesn't. They actively try to stamp out diversity of opinion.
- ManlyBread 10y agoI can't wait to work in environment where we can have conflicts over these things instead of focusing on actual work.
