Well at this point we're battling several different entities: Domestic Government Agencies, Foreign Government Agencies, various "Secretive Hacking Groups", Hacktivists, Malware, The Prince of Nigeria and other assorted phishing scams, our own Hardware Manufacturers (I'm looking at you, Intel and AMD), people within the network who are careless about their own security and have access to your data, not to mention the usual hits from China and the Middle East. Irony: Every government wants to authorize hacking at the state level, but nobody is rushing to secure their own infrastructure from being hacked.
