I've been telling people for years that my optical mouse has more compute power than my first computer. It's crazy how far we've come. It's also unfortunate that we're seeing the end of Moore's Law, and the easy gains in compute power through the use of a process shrink. Here's hoping people get really serious about molecular nanotechnology research.
