- rdl 10y agoElon has some awesome lieutenants; Shotwell at SpaceX being the best example, who is essentially Tim Cook or Sheryl Sandberg level. That clearly has never existed at Twitter (does/did exist at Square when Keith Rabois was there; not sure about Square now but probably.)
- FussyZeus 10y agoRight but Elon put them there. Part of being a leader is recognizing when you have too much shit to do and finding people you trust, are qualified and delegating tasks to them.
- rdl 10y agoAbsolutely. If we were to start cataloguing the ways Jack Dorsey is not Elon Musk we'd be here for a long time.
- mulcahey 10y agoJB Straubel at Tesla too
- agumonkey 10y agoWho else thinks Musk has turned into self spreading machine with a broken PID ?
- 27182818284 10y agoSquare and Twitter are both public as opposed to Musk's endeavors, but I still think Musk is a fairly solid example that it might be possible to do.
