I'd like to see a React or FRP approach to the Qt Quick Controls, using C++ (not JS).

- ronjouch 10y agoI'm personally fine with QML (under the constraints the app I'm working on has to live with), but know that you're not alone. There's a flamewar^W discussion happening right now in the qt-interest mailing list [1] under the name "[Interest] What don't you like about Qt?". Your concern (the lack of a pure-C++ path for QtQuick Controls) is one of the most recurring pain points. Feel free to chime in if you have something to contribute.
