If your device is having issues, get it repaired. These blog posts get a lot of circulation, though, because Apple haters go "See? Apple products are overpriced crap! Even former fanboys say so1" It's really silly and frankly I'm tired of reading them because it's the same thing every time. Articles declaring "Apple devices are crap now! They were good 5 years ago!" have always been written.
