It would be pretty creepy if my self driving car could know that the people in our path have a criminal past
- tluyben2 10y agoIt could happen though; with enough cams & facial recog as we already have on the streets in a lot of places and which is , the car 'only' needs to tap into it.
- elihu 10y agoEven more creepy would be a national database of citizen value (determined by some unaccountable entity) that devices such as autonomous vehicles are required to query the moment they realize they're about to kill someone, and choose whatever option minimizes the combined citizen value of impacted lives.
