I don't review most Amazon products, mainly because I'm lazy. But I do like them. That means that if I were exchanging the product for a review, then in all likelihood it would be a positive review.
I suppose it is a bias even if that wasn't the intention.
- Obi_Juan_Kenobi 10y agoThe bias is that many of these people are serial reviewers that have been selected because of their willingness to leave positive reviews. They jeopardize their participation if they leave a negative review. The quid pro quo is simple: leave positive reviews in exchange for more free stuff.
