ALso, they are literally trying to solve a problem similar to the travelling salesman problem when you consider Uber Pool scheduling, Uber Eats, etc.
- pjlegato 10y agoTrue, but they don't have to find the optimal solution, or even anything close to it. They just have to find a solution that's slightly better than the next-best solution, which in most cases is very far from optimal.
