Hm - every time I suggest optimization (of anything), I'm shot down with "premature optimization is the root of all evil!"
- tekromancr 10y agoThere are two reasons to optimize something that don't qualify as premature optimization. 1 it isn't working well enough and is actively causing problems. (Your slow webapp) 2 It could be making more money (Your checkout flow, your lead page, etc.) Everything else is just technical masturbation. Makes you feel better, but otherwise a complete waste of time.
