I agree, using PostgreSQL logical decoding is a good solution. MySQL can do something similar using a replication stream (https://github.com/siddontang/go-mysql-elasticsearch https://github.com/siddontang/go-mysql-elasticsearch) and MongoDB by tailing the oplog.
